The Role: Electrical Project Engineer
My client is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer with experience in power systems design for data centers and mission-critical environments. If you're passionate about engineering and want to contribute to large-scale, high-impact projects, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management (60%): Lead electrical engineering projects, managing budgets, schedules, and teams.
- Design (30%): Develop electrical designs, specifically focusing on power systems for data centers.
- Commissioning (10%): Oversee and support commissioning of electrical systems in mission-critical environments.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification (or nearing completion).
- At least 7 years of electrical engineering experience, with 5 years in mission-critical environments (data centers, energy, etc.).
- Power systems design experience.
- Proficiency in REVIT (ideal, but training can be provided).
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and clients.
- Ability to travel less than 25% for project needs.
- Ideally based in the East Coast
