Average Day on the Job :
As a Collections Representative, Responsible for performing collection activities associated with delinquent member accounts, including all delinquent loan and negative share accounts. Review delinquent accounts and determines Credit Union position and as circumstances indicate, directs and assists legal counsel in collections proceedings. Ensure that the Credit Union's professional image is maintained. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice. This position has the potential for remote work based on management discretion.
Work Schedule :
This is a 40 hour per week, full time position. Monday through Friday 8 : 30am - 5 : 30pm with rotating later evenings on Tuesdays / Thursdays until 6 : 00pm and rotating Saturdays from 9 : 00am - 1 : 00pm.

Qualifications
Job Requirements :
- 1-3 years of collection experience with a financial institution
- Understanding of Credit Union loan products and policies
- Familiar with deposit programs, account ownership, and casualty insurance
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Excellent communication skills
- Phone handling experience
