Role: Product Owner
Location: Saint Louis, MO

Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the product backlog(s), ensuring the team has clear and prioritized work.
- Actively participate in Program Increment (PI) planning and preparation, collaborating with the Product Manager to refine and update the backlog.
- Lead the development team throughout sprint activities to ensure timely and effective delivery.
- Make critical product-related decisions, supporting release planning and prioritizing features.
- Translate business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring they are well-defined for development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Architects, Tech Leads, and Quality Assurance) to identify non-functional requirements, infrastructure needs, and create test cases.
- Coordinate product integration testing with business customers to ensure seamless delivery.
- Product Development:
- Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning sessions, working with the development team to estimate features and user stories based on velocity.
- Define and sequence stories to ensure the team's objectives align with business goals and desired outcomes for the upcoming Program Increment.
- Drive value through careful consideration of cost, time, functionality, and quality in product development.
- Work closely with the Product Manager to evaluate and adjust the product roadmap, identifying key features for development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information management, Business, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in IT as a Business Analyst or Product Owner.
- Proven experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
- Strong understanding of web service technologies, user interface/interaction, and systems development.
- Experience developing product and technology roadmaps through collaboration with key business and technology stakeholders.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower teams.
- A proactive, innovative mindset with a keen ability to identify opportunities for value creation.
- Experience as a Scrum Product Owner is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus.
- Expertise in evaluating workloads to drive efficiency and productivity.
