Candidate must be onsite day one. Manager does not want anyone submitted who say yes they can be onsite day one and then ask for 3 weeks to move. Reporting to Atlanta day is a must and working a hybrid schedule. Please do not ask for exceptions. Manager will reject immediately.
Qualifications :
6 years of experience required.
Responsibilities :
Responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and supporting network infrastructure.
Provide consultation and direct technical support in life cycle planning, problem management, integration, and network configuration.
Supports and administers firewall environments in line with IT security policy.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Reports network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects.
Performs basic configuration of firewalls.
Provides remote support of on-site engineers and end users / customers during installation.
Provides remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation.
Communicates with customers via email and phone for initial requirement capture.
Undertakes data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources.
Secures network systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.
Upgrades data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.
Configures routing and switching equipment.
Configures hosted IP voice services.
Performs capacity management and auditing of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centers.
Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
Designs and implements new solutions and improves resilience of current environment.
Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
Communicate with project management teams, third-line engineers and service desk engineers on a regular basis.
