The Daughters of Charity Is Looking for Team Players!
We are looking for enthusiastic, responsible and energetic individuals to fill Part time positions as Dining Assistants.
We are the home for the retired Sisters of the Daughters of Charity located in a peaceful, park like setting providing independent, assisted and memory care in a person respected environment. Employee parking is onsite.
Responsibilities
Dining Assistants may help in the following areas:
Serve meals for our Sister residents in a professional, courteous and friendly manner, always remaining attentive to their requests.
Perform a variety of tasks necessary to assist in the care and maintenance of the work area, equipment and supplies including removing recyclables, transporting food items to respective storage areas, cleaning kitchen equipment as scheduled
Perform various tasks necessary to assist cooks with the preparation of scheduled meals including making salads and other food items as directed by the cook, assist in serving meals in a tasteful and attractive manner, ensures that, after the meal, all food is cleared and properly stored
Carry out functions necessary to maintain the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas. Perform and document all cleaning duties as scheduled.
Maintain professional discretion and strict confidentiality
Respond proactively to change and participate in team efforts to meet departmental and community goals.
Any other duties as assigned. Prior experience is preferred.
May need to work weekends and Holidays
Differentials- 2nd shift Mon-Fri- $3.00 more/hr
1st shift Weekends- $3.00 more/hr
2nd shift Weekends- $6.00 more/hr
