What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Aide **New Rates position at Daughters of Sarah Community for Seniors?
We are currently seeking Part-Time Food Service Aides with generous evening and weekend differentials.
If selected, you will be responsible for creating an enjoyable dining experience for the nursing home residents and their guests in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
The basic responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring adequate nutrition of residents through serving food as indicated on modified diets, as well as providing feedback from residents to Director of Food Services on nutritional problems
- Preparing food
- Following all safety and sanitation rules and regulations
- Promoting clean, safe and neat environment for residents, self and staff
- Ensures kosher laws are adhered to according to provided guidelines.
Requirements:
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner.
- High school education preferred.
