The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), a non-profit women's membership organization located in Washington DC, has a full-time opportunity in their DAR Insignia Store. The DAR Insignia Store is an e-commerce retail operation with occasional pop-up shops, that sells jewelry- quality pins and related items to its members across multiple sales channels.
Job Responsibilities :
- Accepts, processes, and fulfills member / customer orders from the online store, mail, phone, and other channels.
- Handles incoming calls to provide exceptional customer service to assist members with placing orders, determining order status or other issues.
- Travels to conferences to run temporary pop-up shops during conference season (5-6 months of the year). Travel will include weekends.
- Assists with inventory, from receiving to monitoring levels, and maintains a knowledge of materials and products.
- Coordinates order processing with in-house engraver and outside vendors.
- Packages orders and ships item.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
