Daumar is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our finance team. The ideal candidate will have beginner-level accounting experience and be familiar with accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and general accounting principles. Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts receivable (AR) transactions, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
- Handle accounts payable (AP) by reviewing, coding, and processing vendor invoices and payments.
- Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documents.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding billing and payment inquiries.
- Assist in data entry, reporting, and other administrative finance tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial transactions.
- Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
