Description :
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician who is ready to join a fast-paced, growing team in the packaging industry. Candidate must have previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing / warehouse environment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair.
- Diagnoses, repairs, and overhauls the electrical components of critical production equipment.
- Installing and configuring new or replacement electrical motors, sensors, and controls.
- Quickly responding to and resolving electrical failures or breakdowns on the production floor.
- Services and troubleshoots programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other automation and control devices.
- Troubleshoot variable frequency, DC motor drive systems, servos, and steppers.
- Use common electrical diagnostic equipment.
- Troubleshoot to determine root cause of equipment failure and perform corrective maintenance accordingly.
- Serve as a point of contact for outside vendors and contractors’ jobs onsite.
- Communicate scope of work for maintenance projects to Production Manager.
- Communicate project progress being completed by outside vendors to Production Manager.
Bilingual (English & Spanish) skills are a plus but not required.
