JOB DESCRIPTION
MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING:
A bachelor’s degree which includes or is supplemented by 12 college-level credit hours in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or other related social sciences.
Or three and one-half years of experience as an Aging Case Aide and 12 college-level credit hours in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other related social sciences.
Or any equivalent combination of experience and training and an associate degree including 12 semester hours credit in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or other related social sciences.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
At the time of hire, a valid driver’s license and positive driving record, a favorable criminal background check, child abuse and FBI clearances, as well as favorable references are required. The applicant must provide proof of a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license within 60 days from the date of hire. An alternative form of identification will be accepted if you are not eligible to receive a Pennsylvania driver’s license under 67 PA. Code § 83 and driving is not an essential function of the position.
