Essential Functions

DAVACO LP is looking to staff a dynamic Traveling Merchandising Team Lead that will lead, supervise, and assist a team in performing general merchandising, store resets and fixture installations. Ability to lead, attention to detail and a positive attitude are a must! As a member of the DAVACO LP team your job will encompass different levels of responsibility that require professionalism and confidentiality. In additional, you will be responsible for ensuring that our client’s expectations are met. Must be able to perform essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.

Job Attributes and Skills

• Responsible for leading a team, as well as individual efforts of 6-25 in performance of reset, rollout and remodel activities through all phases until project completion.
• Ensure safety precautions are being followed and written reports of incidents are completed in a timely manner
• Responsible for coaching and on the job training of field personnel as well as the execution of certification competency for operation of DAVACO equipment
• Effectively communicate with team members of all levels including daily touch points with management to ensure they are informed of project happenings.
• Review daily attendance of team members to ensure head count is meeting or exceeding requested requirements for project.
• Must have great written and oral communication skills, be computer savvy, have strong leadership skills as well as organizational skills.
• Must have the ability to travel to all assigned locations.
• Able to work both, independently and collaboratively with coworkers, store personnel and vendors.
• Always maintain a neat and clean appearance with no stains, rips or holes in clothing.
• May be required to stand, walk and repeat physical motions for long periods of time.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Team Lead in a store remodel or new store set up and reading planograms/blueprints
• Must have great written and oral communication skills, be computer savvy, have strong leadership skills as well as organizational skills.
• Must have the ability to travel to all assigned locations.
• Able to work both, independently and collaboratively with coworkers, store personnel and vendors.
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• SMARTPHONE is needed

Physical Requirements

• Will need to be comfortable working in a retail or light construction environment where temperatures may vary
• May be required to stand, walk and repeat physical motions for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and/or pull, push 50 lbs. without assistance
• Must be comfortable with climbing ladders, stooping and crouching
