Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled individual to join our team as an Experienced Product Merchandiser. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing merchandising strategies, assembling, and installing retail fixtures, and ensuring product displays are visually appealing and aligned with company standards. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities that require professionalism, confidentiality, and a commitment to meeting both company and client expectations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing merchandising strategies, assembling, and installing retail fixtures, and ensuring product displays are visually appealing and aligned with company standards. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities that require professionalism, confidentiality, and a commitment to meeting both company and client expectations.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for reset activity, shelf conditions, tear down/rebuild, and schematics/plan-o-gram completion.
- General labor duties such as: unloading of trucks, pallets, boxes, and stocking of shelves.
- Knowledge of store fixtures – metal fixtures/gondola – light and heavy duty/types or brands of racking (Lozier or Ready Rack, etc.), some millwork or floor fixtures, perimeter wall fixturing, signage installation.
- Rearranges beams and grids, rotates inventory, assembles products, and sets up displays using power tools and equipment following project guidelines.
- Spots damaged products and remove them from shelves and document them as defective.
- Detects and replaces damaged or missing signage, displays, and marketing materials in line with merchandising standards and planogram details.
- Verify that all product pricing is clear and visible and replace any missing or incorrect labels.
- Coordinate with store management to display clearance and damaged merchandise for quick sale.
- Organize products in bins, drawers, and boxes to ensure they are correctly located.
- Reset shelving elevations and install new shelves or small displays onto gondolas.
- Install shelf accessories like dividers, wire baskets, clips, and such.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of reset merchandising experience in a retail, grocery, or Hardware store settings.
- Proficiency in using hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in assembling and installing fixtures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively with coworkers, store personnel and vendors.
- Have the ability to lift and/or pull, push 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Have the ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours at a time.
- Stamina to stand, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, climb ladders and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
