As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and expansion in the Western United States. You will lead a team of seven direct sales representatives, developing and implementing strategic sales plans to exceed regional and corporate sales objectives. Key Responsibilities:
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of seven direct sales representatives. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to exceed regional and corporate sales objectives. Gather and analyze market feedback to refine sales strategies and identify opportunities for growth. Work closely with sales representatives, offering technical expertise and best practices to enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction. Monitor key metrics, including customer acquisition, sales growth, and product segment performance. Oversee daily sales operations, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. Cross-functional collaboration with sales management and other departments to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives. Minimum Requirements: Five years of sales and/or sales management experience in the sheet metal fabrication or related metalworking industries. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and leading successful sales teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to travel regionally as necessary (50% or more). Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software; familiarity with CAD or programming software is a plus. Total Compensation: $75,000 - $165,000/year (includes base salary plus commissions and bonuses). Comprehensive sales and product training program.
