Job Summary:
As a Pre-Apprentice at Dave Jones, you will support our skilled trades team and gain hands-on experience in daily operations while learning essential techniques and best practices. This role is designed to provide a solid foundation for your career and foster professional growth, helping you become a valuable contributor to our team and company success.
Position Description:
- Organize materials and maintain job sites to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Assist Journeyman Plumber and Apprentices with gas piping and radon vent system installations.
- Cut and core openings in structures for pipes and fittings using hand and power tools.
- Actively participate in digging trenches for underground plumbing systems.
- Caulk and foam interior and exterior penetrations for fire stopping, draft stopping, and infiltration.
- Help organize and set up testing equipment for municipality inspections.
Licensing and Experience:
- Valid Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour days
- Overtime As Needed
- Year-Round Work
