Dave Mungenast St Louis Honda is hiring a personable and motivated Automotive Service Advisor. The Automotive Service Advisor will be responsible for consulting with the customer, selling services and documenting their concerns and requests accurately and clearly on the repair order.
Other duties include:
- Utilizes service history, factory maintenance guides, and the multi-point inspection sheet to recommend additional services
- Provides the customer with a complete and accurate written cost estimate
- Communicates promise times to the customer and sets realistic expectations
- Obtains customer’s signature on repair order
- Adheres to warranty policies and procedures
- Properly and accurately documents all applicable job lines with customers’ concerns/requests, cause, and correction
- Communicates with team leader of incoming work
- Checks on progress of repairs throughout the day/duration of repair period, and keeping the customer informed of any changes in the estimate or promised time, cost or time requirements in detail, obtaining proper authorization before additional repairs are performed
- Explains completed work and all charges to customers
- Maintains a clean and professional work environment
- Maintains a professional appearance and treats other employees with the same level of respect they expect from others
- Other duties as assigned
Applicants who wish to be considered for employment by Dave Mungenast St Louis Honda must hold a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and be able to pass a drug test.

This job is scheduled on a 4 day work week! Although Saturdays are required, every three weeks you get Friday through Tuesday off!
Pay is commission.
