What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Dismantler position at Dave's Auto?
We are looking for an experienced automotive dismantler/mechanic, must be reliable and have own transportation. Small yard, well established business with dependable work.
- MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS including air tools
- Correctly inspect, mark, and tag all parts for inventory
- Inspect parts for functionality
- Removing vehicle fluids, including oil, gasoline, transmission fluid, brake fluid, coolant, power steering fluid, etc.
- Removing drive trains, including motors, transmissions and transfer cases without supervision on a daily basis
- Removing cores, including alternators, starters steering racks, etc.
- Removing body parts, such as doors, mirrors, fenders, etc.
- Using a tire machine to remove tires from rims
- Keeping work area clean and safe and avoid damaging parts
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
