What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Maintenance Worker position at Dave's Auto?
Dave's Automotive is an auto salvage yard looking for a unique person who can perform a wide variety of services.
The right individual will be self-motivated and able to work independently. Some of the many miscellaneous tasks will be:
- Pull small parts from vehicles in the yard (door mirrors, headlights etc.)
- Retrieve parts from warehouse locations
- Pressure wash
- Quality control of parts
- Deliver and pickup parts
- Cut grass, brush small trees
- Paint / perform small building repairs
- Clean shop area
- Winter snow removal (shovel, clear customer cars etc.)
The right person will help to shape the job and be able to set their own hours / schedule. The job can be part time or full time- benefits offered dependent on full or part time employment. There is never a shortage of work to be done!
Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs.
Pull small auto parts (automotive knowledge and small hand tools a plus)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
