Job Title: Office Furniture Installer

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Office Furniture Installer to join our team. The Office Furniture Installer will be responsible for the efficient and accurate assembly, installation, and delivery of office furniture in various commercial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and installation instructions to determine the layout and installation requirements for office furniture.
• Safely and efficiently assemble and install a variety of office furniture items such as desks, chairs, cabinets, shelving units, and other fixtures.
• Ensure that all furniture is installed correctly, securely, and in compliance with safety standards.
• Move and arrange furniture according to floor plans and customer specifications.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members to coordinate installation schedules and address any issues or concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning up debris and packaging materials after installations are complete.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any problems or issues that may arise during the installation process.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in office furniture installation or a related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and installation instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy furniture items and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to drive a box truck or van.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
