The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Service Advisor and have experience within a service-oriented environment.
As a Service Advisor your responsibilities will include:
1. Ensure that incoming calls are answered in a courteous, timely manner.
2. Greet all customers with a smile and a desire to exceed their expectations.
3. Schedule service appointments with efficiency and accuracy ensuring exceptional customer service.
4. Create detailed, accurate work orders to outline the service or repairs needed.
5. Complete customer follow-up calls to provide them with updates on the status of their work order, answer any questions they may have and advise and explain the progress of the work being performed.
6. Communicate with management and team members immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the time period promised.
7. Ensure that customer vehicles are checked in and keys tagged with efficiency and accuracy.
8. Keep workstation and service reception area neat and clean.
9. Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts when necessary.
10. Save and tag necessary warranty parts.
11. Recommend and authorize maintenance services whenever possible.
12. Provide quotes of needed parts and labor.
13. Process repair invoices for payment.
14. Close and file work orders.
15. Provide technical support to customers through personal experience or utilizing team members and technicians.
16. Perform functions and duties of the job that may require additional or different tasks to be performed when circumstances change (i.e., emergencies, changes in personnel, workload, rush jobs or technology developments).

Candidates must haves: Must pass a background check, High School Diploma or GED, Strong customer service skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. A desire to work on a team. Ability to problem solve and a strong attention to detail. A neat and clean appearance.
