Occupational Therapist Assistant OTA COTA
MUST HAVE THE SPECIFIC ASSOCIATES DEGREE AS AN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT COTA, FL PROFESSIONAL LICENSE TO PRACTICE OR ELIGIBLE AS A NEW GRADUATE OF AN ACCREDITED PROGRAM AND HAVE PASSED OR ELIGIBLE TO TAKE AND PASS THE NBCOT EXAM.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Occupational Therapists to develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation.
- Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery.
- Assist in evaluating the effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress.
- Record and document patient care services.
- Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current State PTA license.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred but not mandatory if you are a new graduate of an accredited program.
- Proven excellent customer service and patient care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
