Pay Range : $65,000 per year

Summary :
The Associate Department Chair / Program Director for Allied Health is responsible for assisting the Department Chair in developing and implementing curriculum and courses. This position will also oversee faculty and adjunct faculty management, including course assignments, while ensuring adherence to the university's mission and values, including diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Responsibilities :
- Curriculum Development & Implementation : Collaborate with the Department Chair to develop, implement, and review curriculum and course offerings, ensuring compliance with university standards.
- Faculty Management : Hire, supervise, mentor, evaluate, and train full-time and adjunct faculty within the department.
- Course Scheduling : Work with the scheduling committee to develop year-long course schedules and faculty assignments.
- Program Effectiveness : Assist in the creation of measures for program effectiveness and student learning outcomes.
- Student Support : Address student concerns and support academic success.
- Accreditation & Compliance : Maintain and ensure program compliance with accrediting agencies and oversee curriculum updates necessary to meet accreditation standards.
- Program Delivery : Oversee course delivery, internships, and practicums, ensuring students acquire necessary competencies and skills.
- Advisory Committees : Chair the regional Advisory Committee, engaging faculty and industry partners in revising program goals and curriculum.
- Professional Development : Participate in professional organizations and continue personal and professional growth to maintain subject matter expertise.
