Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Local Area and Wide Area Network across multiple geographic locations, ensuring the stability and connectivity of network systems.

Oversee the Internet edge infrastructure, including Cisco routers, Palo Alto firewalls, and traffic shaping systems.
Administer the Cisco wireless network and infrastructure monitoring systems.

Collaborate with the Director to evaluate new network systems and solutions for potential integration into our network environment.

Lead efforts to standardize network equipment and support end-users, working closely with Davenport IT Teams.

Ensure the ongoing enhancement of the network infrastructure to support technologies like video conferencing and IP telephony.

Provide after-hours network support as needed and serve as backup for the Customer Support Center in case of issues.

Develop and manage budgets, long-term planning, and network-related strategies.

Foster a culture of customer service excellence, anticipating and exceeding the needs of our internal clients.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and/or professional certifications with at least 7 years of hands-on experience in LAN/WAN technologies.

Required Cisco Certification, with expertise in EIGRP Routing, BGP Routing, VLAN, ASA Firewall, Wireless LAN Controller, Stacked Switch Management, and NetFlow.

Experience with other network technologies such as Packetfence, Palo Alto Firewall, PRTG Monitoring system, and Scrutinizer NetFlow analysis.

10 years of Cisco router/switch experience is highly desired.

Demonstrated success in managing large-scale networks (20 nodes or greater).

Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to work independently or in a team setting.

Excellent analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and be available for after-hours support as necessary.
