Landscape General Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and mentor landscaping crews, ensuring high-quality workmanship and on-time project delivery.
• Manage all phases of project execution, from initiation to completion, while staying within budget.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source materials, tools, and equipment necessary for each project.
• Maintain open communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and manage expectations effectively.
• Conduct site inspections to uphold quality control and ensure projects adhere to design specifications.
• Oversee safety training programs to maintain a secure work environment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Manage project budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability in all landscaping operations.
• Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment schedules for upcoming projects and resolve any issues efficiently.
• Deliver regular progress reports to senior management and address any operational challenges.
• Utilize industry-specific software, such as SAP and others, to track progress, manage budgets, and streamline workflows.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to address issues such as GPS discrepancies, time management, and labor efficiency.
• Participate in invoicing and billing clients.
• Oversee snow storm operations, ensuring teams are prepared and efficient.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscaping operations, project management, or a related field.
• Proven leadership ability, with experience in managing teams and driving performance.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly.
• In-depth knowledge of landscape design, construction, and maintenance.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Proficiency in landscaping technology, including SAP or similar software.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
