Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to perform various tasks that ensure the upkeep of our outdoor spaces. This role involves using both hand and power tools, as well as engaging in groundskeeping activities to maintain the aesthetic and functional quality of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and planting.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for various maintenance projects.
- Irrigate gardens and landscapes to ensure healthy plant growth.
- Conduct tree care activities such as pruning and removal as necessary.
- Build and maintain garden structures, including raised beds and trellises.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all groundskeeping duties are completed efficiently.
- Monitor the condition of outdoor areas and report any issues or repairs needed.
- Maintain equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and performing minor repairs when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools safely.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and techniques for effective watering.
- Experience in tree care practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in all tasks performed.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- We require a VALID MA DRIVER LISENCE and a CLEAN Driving Record.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
