Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Snow Shovelers. This position is essential for maintaining safe and accessible outdoor spaces during winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, reliable, and able to work in various weather conditions while demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
Duties
- Clear snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots using shovels and snow blowers.
- Perform snow plowing as needed to ensure thorough removal of snow from larger areas.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by promptly removing ice and snow hazards.
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks when not engaged in snow removal, including mowing, irrigation, and tree care.
- Utilize power tools effectively for various tasks related to landscape maintenance and snow removal.
- Follow all safety protocols while operating equipment and performing physical tasks.
- Report any issues or hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Requirements
- Previous experience in snow removal is required (3 years)
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for basic equipment maintenance.
- Strong physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks in cold weather conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings during snow events.
- Must be able to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
