Position Overview
Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc., a Davey company, is a seeking an experienced (8 years of related professional experience), highly motivated Senior Environmental Scientist to join our team in Millersville, Maryland. Role will be primarily fieldwork based, serving as team lead on project sites.
Job Duties
Job duties will include, but are not limited to :
- Wetlands delineation
- Forest stand delineation and natural resource inventory studies
- Wetlands mitigation monitoring
- Stream restoration monitoring
- Assessments associated with ecological restoration projects
- Chesapeake Bay Critical Area Studies
- Staff mentoring
- Assistance with business development
- Participation in industry organizations
- Proposal preparation
