What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipper position at Davico MFG?
Position Summary: This position will include performing the tasks of picking, packing, labeling, and shipping finished goods orders.
Accurately package and label orders for shipment. Responsible for selecting and packing correct parts and printing and applying accurate part # and shipping labels. Must be capable of reading instructions and shipment pick-lists. must pay close attention to details and communicate with Shipping Manager. Experience with shipping software and computerized warehouse management systems preferred.
Essential Functions:
- Accurately pick and label orders for shipment
- creating accurate packing slips in ERP software
- Counting inventory as needed
- Drive forklift
- Keeping product organized and ready
- Maintain area cleanliness
Qualifications Required:
- 2 years of experience in shipping tasks
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic math skills
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
