We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day administrative tasks while ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. This role requires proficiency in bookkeeping, office management, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping Duties:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Office Administration Duties:
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Manage office supplies and inventory.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and handle customer inquiries.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings.
- Support other departments with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Office Assistant, or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and office management practices.
