David Alan Hospitality Group is seeking enthusiastic Event Chefs to join our events team!
David Alan Hospitality Group is growing its team to continue to provide exceptional service and unmatched attention to detail, helping over 150 wedding clients and over 500 corporate clients per year. This position involves working in multiple locations, dependent on the event venue, across the state of Connecticut.

Event Chef Duties:
- Work as an Event Chef at catered events, helping ensure the entire culinary operation goes smoothly
- Cook on site, including preparing hot and cold food (apps, salads, entrees, sauces, desserts) and grill, sauté, roast and or fry foods
- Other responsibilities include: following appropriate plate out procedures, field kitchen setup and breakdown, helping the team unload vehicles, and being a great culinary team member, all while maintaining high quality food
- May be required to work a manned station visible to clients
- Practice safe food handling procedures at all times
- Show up on-time, in uniform with a positive attitude
- Be prepared to work in all types of weather - events can be indoors and outdoors
- Have an understanding that this position requires “WHATEVER IT TAKES” to get the job done mentality
Requirements :

Standard Work Policies:
- No eating or drinking in sight of customers or guests of the event. Eating and drinking shall be conducted in designated areas and at designated times. No eating of the client provided food.
- Uniform- Black Dress Pants, Black or DAHG Tee Shirt, Black Shoes, Black or Grey Chef Coat, Bistro Stripe or Black Apron, DAHG Hat
- No facial tattoos or large gauge piercings allowed
- All staff MUST have long hair tied back.
