Typing from electronic dictation and written documents. Greeting clients, answering telephones, filing, ordering office supplies. Speak and use good English grammar and spelling and basic math skills. Maintain client confidentiality. Have or be able to obtain Notary Public Commission.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
- Prepare, review, and file legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Conduct document review and assist in the preparation of case files for court proceedings.
- Utilize legal research tools such as Westlaw to gather relevant information for cases; desirable but not required
- Assist with client communications, including drafting correspondence and responding to inquiries professionally.
- Support the team with clerical tasks such as data entry, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary within a law firm or certificate in office administration.
- Basic bookkeeping , maintain checking accounts.
- Have experience with EXCEL.
- Proficiency in legal research tools like Westlaw is desirable but not required.
- Experience in Heritance and Quick and Easy Programs preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with estate planning/administration and real estate law practices is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
