Electrical Lead-Residential Wiring:

Our company is searching for an experienced candidate for the position of lead electrician. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.

Responsibilities for lead electrician:

· Install all the wiring, circuits, and outlets needed to power lights, appliances, and equipment within a building

· Oversee and perform troubleshooting; repair and service electrical equipment including power systems from breaker to outlets, lighting system wiring, etc.

· Test circuits and equipment by use of voltmeter, ammeter, and wattmeter

· Installation, service and repair of residential standby generators

· Work with building contractors, project managers and customers on new construction jobs, remodel jobs and service work

· Reading blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the placement of outlets and fixtures

· Direct and train fellow workers to install, maintain and repair wiring and systems

· Work independently with minimum supervision in multiple job/home environments

Qualifications for lead electrician:

· Electrical background 3-5 years residential experience

· Must be able to work 5 days a week (40-hour work week)

Electrician Requirements:

· Proven experience as a lead electrician

· A high school diploma or similar education is required

· Valid driver’s license

· Knowledge of different electrical systems, blueprints, residential wiring, and service work related jobs

· Ability to repair/replace wiring and equipment using hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, saws, drills, wire strippers and conduit breakers

· Follow state and local building regulations

· Understanding safety procedures and legal codes and guidelines

· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

· Team player with good time management skills

Pay will be discussed with David Johnson at the time of the interview and will be based on experience and knowledge. Insurance opportunities will be discussed at the time of the interview.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
