Electrical Service Technician-Residential Wiring:
Our company is searching for an experienced candidate for the position of an electrical service technician. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.
Responsibilities for electrical service technician:
· Oversee and perform troubleshooting, installation, repairs and services electrical equipment including power systems from breaker to outlets, lighting system wiring, etc.
· Test circuits and equipment by use of voltmeter, ammeter and wattmeter
· Installation, service and repair of residential standby generators
· Provide service and customer support during field visits/service work
· Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
· Work independently with minimum supervision in multiple job/home environments
Qualifications for electrical service technician:
· Electrical background 2-5 years residential experience
· Must be able to work 5 days a week (40-hour work week)
Electrician Requirements:
· Proven experience as an electrician
· A high school diploma or similar education is required
· Valid driver’s license
· Knowledge of different electrical systems, blueprints, residential wiring and service work related jobs
· Ability to use electrical and hand tools
· Understanding of safety procedures and legal codes and guidelines
· Critical thinking and problem solving skills
· Good time management skills
Pay will be discussed with David Johnson at the time of the interview and will be based on experience and knowledge. Insurance opportunities will be discussed at the time of the interview.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
