Position Overview
We’re seeking a Manager of Business Administration to lead the administrative operations of our Millwork Division’s back office. This pivotal role oversees budgets, streamlines processes, and ensures compliance while collaborating with corporate shared services and division leadership. You’ll balance strategic oversight with hands-on management, driving efficiency and fostering a high-performance culture. Core Competencies
- Manufacturing Plant Experience (5 years preferred): Expertise in millwork or manufacturing operations, including production workflows and plant coordination.
- Business Administration Expertise (5 years): Proven ability to manage administrative functions, develop processes, and implement procedures.
- Financial Acumen: Proficient in interpreting financial statements, managing budgets, and optimizing costs.
- Leadership & Team Building: Skilled at motivating teams and fostering cross-department collaboration.
- Organizational Mastery: Strong time management and multitasking to handle competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Nicewood Production Schedule, attend production meetings, and ensure accurate job allocations for payroll and purchase orders.
- Monitor revenue margins, conduct budget reviews, and analyze labor/material costs to boost profitability.
- Partner with Production to identify and implement operational efficiency improvements.
- Navigate regulations (licensing, insurance) to keep projects on track.
- Ensure accurate financial coding with corporate accounting for income statements.
- Manage division-specific budgets, assets, and liabilities, aligning with corporate financial goals.
- Collaborate with corporate HR for hiring, training, benefits, and employee reviews.
- Ensure departments have adequate resources and supplies.
- Act as a liaison between employees and leadership, enforcing policies and resolving conflicts.
- Recommend system improvements and growth strategies to division and corporate leadership.
- Negotiate vendor and partner contracts to secure favorable terms.
- Support client care processes to maintain exceptional service standards.
- Motivate teams to achieve objectives while promoting DNB’s culture.
