Job description
David's Automotive Repair is looking for an veteran automotive technician to join our progressive fast growing business! We are a high volume independent, family-owned and operated auto repair shop that has been open since 2000. We want to bring on another experienced technician to the team!
We want someone who is a team leader and who is looking for a long-term career. We are exceptionally team-oriented and are looking for someone willing to be a team player with a positive attitude. Great team culture is one of the most important things to us in this business! We are always trying to better ourselves daily. We are open Monday thru Friday. We have the latest and most excellent equipment and information to service and repair them! We do in-house and virtual training. Digital Inspections, Digital Work-orders: We are working to be an entirely paperless shop. We are working towards building a benefits package for candidates looking to grow with our company.
Qualifications:
- Have three years of experience (required)
- demonstrate a physical and mental ability to perform services and detailed minor repairs.
- Conduct every aspect of their job ethically.
- Have the ability to explain the work needed to the Service Advisor/Manager and to work well under pressure.
- Technicians must meet or exceed the standards set by the industry-recognized trade organizations.
- Have some or be working on ASE Certifications when hired.
- Have all of the necessary hand tools to perform their duties efficiently.
- Commit to continuously educating themselves through industry-recognized classes, seminars, and tests to keep up with changes in the industry and new vehicles.
- Available to produce a minimum of 40 hours per week regularly.
- Pay will depend on experience and certifications.

Areas of Responsibility:
Technicians must be able to demonstrate their physical and mental ability to perform services as well as complex primary and minor repairs. Have the ability to explain the work needed to the Service Advisor/Manager and to work well under pressure. Conduct every aspect of their job ethically.
The Technician’s responsibilities include but are not limited to a dedication: to the company’s mission statement, company profitability, and 100% customer satisfaction. Also, responsible for following the company policies and procedures.
Work well with others as a team toward a common goal. They will check all work is complete before being turned in as completed.
