We are a dynamic family seeking a dedicated, reliable, and proactive Family Assistant to help keep our home running smoothly and our three amazing kids thriving. About Us:
We’re a professional, active family with three sons (ages 10, 11, and 13) who are curious, kind, active, independent, and full of personality. Our kids attend school full-time and are involved in a variety of extracurricular activities. We value open communication, consistency, and creating a positive, structured environment that helps our kids grow.
Position Details:
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approx. 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (some flexibility required)
Location: Our home (commutable location with easy parking)
Start Date: ASAP (willing to wait for the right fit)
Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience, including paid holidays, PTO,
Key Responsibilities:
- School pick-ups and transportation to after-school activities
- Homework help, school project support, and academic encouragement
- Light housekeeping (kids’ laundry, kids' dishes, tidying kid areas, organizing)
- Family errands (grocery runs, returns, post office trips, etc.)
- Meal and snack prep for the kids
- Calendar management for kids’ appointments and school events
- Occasional supervision of playdates or helping coordinate family travel
- Assistance with vacation and party planning
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Has a genuine love for working with preteens and understands their unique stage of development
- Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and takes initiative
- Is upbeat, flexible, and a great communicator
- Has a safe driving record and their own reliable vehicle
- Is tech-savvy enough to help with school portals, online scheduling, and text/email communication
- Is comfortable setting boundaries with kids while remaining warm and supportive
- Experience as a nanny, family assistant, teacher, or in a similar role is highly preferred

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
