Medical Director – Outpatient Behavioral Health (PMHNP-BC)
Salary: $125,000 – $140,000 per year
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, with rotating on-call (90% in-person)

Your Role:
Clinical Leadership & Direct Care
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management
- Oversee psychopharmacological interventions for patients with co-occurring disorders
- Provide crisis intervention, risk assessments, and referrals as needed
- Supervise and mentor psychiatric providers (PMHNPs, PAs, and psychiatrists)
Program Development & Quality Improvement
- Implement best practices in integrated psychiatric care
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Support expansion of telepsychiatry, MAT, and harm reduction strategies
Collaboration & Advocacy
- Serve as the psychiatric liaison between medical and behavioral health teams
- Educate staff on psychiatric and substance use treatments
- Advocate for holistic, patient-centered behavioral health care
What You Bring:
✅ Education & Experience
- MSN or DNP with PMHNP-BC certification
- 3 years post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP
- 2 years supervisory experience (preceptor or nurse educator preferred)
- Experience with integrated care, addiction medicine, and co-occurring disorders is a plus
✅ Licensure & Skills
- Active PMHNP license in the state of practice
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, substance use treatment, and EHRs
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
