We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Product Management to lead and drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our product portfolio. This leadership role will focus on the development of innovative products that elevate the customer experience and drive business growth. As Director of Product Management, you will lead a team of product managers and work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, technology, and other departments to deliver best-in-class products that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and drive the relevant product strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives, market trends, and customer needs.
- Establish and communicate clear product visions and roadmaps, incorporating both long-term strategic goals and immediate business priorities.
- Hire and manage a growing team of product managers and product owners.
- Define and drive standardizations for team structure, processes, tools and methodologies.
- Form guidelines on how Product Management operates with its technology counterparts to facilitate smooth product development and operations
- Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of product managers and product owners.
- Foster a collaborative, high-energy environment to inspire innovation, encourage a can-do culture, and drive results.
- Partner with key internal stakeholders across marketing, ecommerce, retail operations, customer care and other departments to ensure product success.
- Drive alignment on product priorities and timelines.
- Oversee product lifecycles.
- Lead efforts to refine, optimize, enhance, or scale products.
- Balance bug fixes vs enhancements
- Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success, adjust strategy, and inform future product development.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the retail space.
- Innovation & Market Awareness
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring that the product portfolio remains competitive and innovative.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the product team.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. MBA or advanced degree a plus.
- 8 years of experience in product management, with a strong track record in retail or consumer-facing product management.
- 3 years of experience in a leadership role, managing and developing product management teams.
- Experience in eCommerce, omnichannel retail, or digital product management is highly preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and results.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on building a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Deep understanding of product lifecycle management, from concept to commercialization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with retail technology stacks, POS systems, clienteling, inventory management, and eCommerce platforms.
- Demonstrated success in driving product innovation in the retail space.
