Job Description
Title : Project Engineer, Men's Product Development in New York Office
Reports to : Manager of Men's Product Development
Overview
Provide comprehensive project management by successfully developing of all market product based on timeline. Utilizing manufacturing knowledge to serve as owner of vendor communication throughout the design turnover and launch process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Provide multi-faceted project leadership for new product development efforts focusing on engineering, manufacturing, cost, and design aesthetic needs; Serve as primary contact (owner) with external vendors during development collaboration. Responsible for following development timeline.
- Execute and maintain all product specific documentation as needed including project kits and supplemental documents; Maintain systems as required (PLM, Oracle)
- Execute technologically driven solutions to attain fundamental product improvements by improving product manufacturability, reducing manufacturing cost, increasing manufacturing capacity or improving product quality
- Support additional manufacturing and engineering-related initiatives as needed
- Drive solutions to attain fundamental product improvements by improving product manufacturability, reducing manufacturing cost, increasing manufacturing capacity or improving product quality
- Partner with M.E. on execution of technologically-driven solutions while increasing manufacturing capacity and articulating original design aesthetic.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Location : New York Office, Hybrid schedule 3-4 days in office as needed, 2 days WFH
Estimated Base Salary : $90,000-95,000
