Overview
The Store Manager leads the overall store business objectives, including the achievement of sales and profitability goals. This dynamic individual will demonstrate excellent relationship building skills, with both internal and external clients, to establish an exceptional service culture.
This individual will serve as a David Yurman brand ambassador, engaging in opportunities that promote the product, vision and inspiration of the brand within the market.
Key Deliverables:
- Achieve and/or Exceed Sales Plan: Create and execute strategic initiatives to deliver the planned annual sales goals; Lead, motivate and drive sales professionals to meet their sales goals and exceed the highest expectations for customer service.
- Clientele/Service Management: Lead a culture focused on client satisfaction, including resolution of customer services issues and empowerment of sales and operations associates to satisfy the client.
- Talent Training and Development: Recruit top candidates for all positions with a focus on hiring talent that embodies the spirit and standards of the David Yurman brand; Develop and motivate staff through clear communication, goal setting and regular coaching opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute strategic initiatives to deliver the planned annual sales goals.
- Lead, motivate and drive sales professionals to meet their sales goals and exceed the highest expectations for customer service.
- Partner with the Buying & Merchandising team to ensure product assortment is consistent with market needs and sales goals.
- Maintain proper care standards for the product to ensure quality saleable condition.
- Establish and maintain store opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications:
- Positive leader with strong sales background.
- Ability to speak multiple languages.
- Well networked into the High Net Worth individual, and the local philanthropy scene.
- Client centric leader; exceptional clientele, customer relationship building skills with the ability to lead a luxury service culture.
- Work Experience: 5 years retail sales management experience in a similar role, preferably within a high-end luxury accessories boutique.
Additional Requirements:
- Fine Jewelry and or Fine Watch experience preferred, but not required.
- Flexibility to work in various roles based on business needs (i.e., on the sales floor, operations, etc.).
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
