Experienced Auto Service Advisor / Writer - Watertown, NY

Davidson Ford in Watertown, NY is looking for an Experienced Service Advisor to join our busy service department! We take pride in what we do here and that includes taking care of our employees and our customers. Come join our team and experience the Davidson way of working!

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assess customers’ needs and concerns for their vehicles.
• Generate sales based on recommendations to the customer.
• Keep open lines of communication with customers through call, text, and email.
• Assign work to your team of technicians based on need and skill level.
• Use the various computer systems available to make the repair process as seamless as possible.
• Remain knowledgeable about our current procedures and products.
• Follow up on email inquiries in a timely manner.
• Accurately document detailed processes.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Required Skills:

• Must have prior Auto Service Advisor / Writer experience.
• A multi-tasker who can provide excellent customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer contact work experience required.
• Empathetic and patient personality.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Time management.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license

Preferred Skills:

• Prior Automotive Dealership experience.
• Prior experience in sales, retail, customer service, or administrative.
• Previous scheduling experience.
