Position Accountabilities
The Program Coordinator for the Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL) works collaboratively with the Director of the CTL and the Project Specialist.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Track grants funded by the CTL and other programs within Academic Affairs, including funds reconciliation and ensuring submission of required documentation upon completion of project.
- Coordinate the logistics of New Faculty programming execution, including but not limited to: space reservations, catering orders, scheduling of presenters/participants.
- Coordinate the execution of the Verna Miller Case Symposium, including but not limited to: space planning, catering orders, etc.
- Coordinate the execution of the New Tutorial Training workshop.
- Identify tutors to work 1:1 with students with specific support needs, including referrals from Academic Access & Disability Resources. Work with center directors to identify and address peer tutor work hours, inconsistencies; approve bi-weekly timesheets of peer tutors and multilingual writing intern.
- Negotiate vendor contracts for special events as needed.
- Produce and distribute CTL posters, fliers, brochures, presentation, social media materials. Maintain WildcatSync student portal.
- Execute minor updates CTL TUTOR MOODLE, EMS scheduling software, websites as requested by the Director of the CTL.
- Special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree with a minimum of three years of administrative support experience, or a combination of experience and education for which similar skills would be acquired.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Basic accounting/book keeping skills required.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft and Google product suites.
- Experience in maintaining websites.
- High level of discretion and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with an enterprise-wide HR/Finance system (such as Banner, Oracle, PeopleSoft or Work Day).
- Priority will be given to candidates who have experience with Canva, EMS systems, and Moodle.
