Job Description
Reporting to the Director of HRIS, the HR Business Analyst will serve as the first point of contact for Oracle Cloud HR processes, procedures and support for the Davidson community. This is primarily an on-site position, requiring regular attendance at our office location. Remote work may be considered in accordance with our Remote Work policy.
- Provide support for the daily operations of HCM in Oracle Cloud, including but not limited to Core HR, Benefits, Talent Management, Compensation, Absence Management, Payroll and other Oracle HCM modules.
- Acts as the liaison between the operational or functional users and subject matter experts / technical staff.
- Perform assigned activities involving query and reporting, including developing Oracle HCM reports
- Under the guidance of the Director, performs system maintenance, including overseeing assisting in the review, testing and implementation of system upgrades or patches. Documents results of testing.
- Collaborates with functional and technical staff to test the application of upgrades and / or fixes.
- Troubleshoots issues, finds opportunities for efficiencies, coordinates with applicable teams and the Director to improve overall system performance. Perform audits on HR processes, documents and data.
- Creates detailed functional documentation for customers as well as high-level technical specs for the system owners and developers for all updates or enhancements to the functionality.
- Under the guidance of the Director, provides detailed requirements for product development evaluates development projects and guides tailoring of the development process to meet project needs.
- Recommend process / customer service improvements, innovative solutions, which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
