WDAV Summer Radio Experience Internship
Basic Function: Ready to explore the behind-the-curtain work of a non-profit? WDAV Classical Public Radio is seeking a qualified student who wants to learn the ins and outs of non-profit work. The WDAV Radio Experience Summer Intern will receive hands-on experience in various areas of station operations, including: administration, membership, digital media, marketing, underwriting, and production. This internship provides an opportunity to explore the "back office," community relations, and broadcast aspects of non-profit work, specifically as it relates to classical music and public media. Training in all relevant work areas will be provided.
Duties may include:
- Checking recorded voice tracks
- Creating SoundExchange Reporting
- Updating playlists for our Concierto program
- Posting content to the Concierto social media platforms
- Creating, editing, and submitting new content for WDAV digital platforms
- Creating, editing, and submitting content for weekly e-news
- Attending meetings as assigned
- Learning how to effectively use social media for business
- Data management and analytics
- Conducting research/reporting findings
- Planning of programs and events
- Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions: Office work. Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision. This position may require evening and weekend work depending on events scheduled.
