Davidson Kempner Capital Management LP seeks an Associate, Risk Analyst in New York, NY to assist in the production of analytics and reports to assist with risk, portfolio construction, performance attribution and investment decision making. Requires a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering, Finance or related field or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience developing software tools for portfolio analytics and risk management. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience developing tool prototypes across asset classes for pricing, sensitivities, stress testing, liquidity, and regulatory reporting; performing risk management for derivatives products, including exchange-traded futures and options, and over the counter (OTC) swaps, including interest rate swaps and credit default swaps; performing advanced quantitative risk modeling through interest rate and equity factor models; utilizing optimization and simulation algorithms for portfolio construction and risk analysis; working with risk and pricing models, including foreign exchange (FX), interest rate swap, and futures and options; and in executing duties, utilizing Python, C#, VBA, C , Oracle and SQL. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Salary range: $150,000 – $174,999/year.
