This is a great green field opportunity for a driven ecommerce developer with PHP and Laravel experience to help shape the future of Davidson's digital experiences. As an Ecommerce Developer, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating and troubleshooting open-source ecommerce applications. - Working closely with our Marketing, Purchasing and IT departments to ensure Davidson's presents the best experience possible for our users; including user feedback, surveys, and testing.
- Owning the user experience of features from conception to delivery and beyond.
- Developing well-structured code in an agile environment
- Help in troubleshooting LA/EMP stack components when issues arise
- Exhibiting exceptional creative thought and attention to detail
- Presenting your work to stakeholders within the organization
- Providing recommendations based on data through presentations to stakeholders

Requirements
The Ideal PHP Ecommerce Developer Candidate Would Possess
- A Degree in computer science, IT or similar. (A combination of education and experience will be considered)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with LA/EMP and various open-source CMS & ecommerce platforms
- A minimum of 3 years of ecommerce experience with PHP and Laravel environments
- Fluency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, Web Services, APIs, Linux
- AWS experience is a plus
- DevOps experience a big plus
- Experience interacting with an ERP
- Excellent customer service and research abilities.
- A willingness to work overtime to troubleshoot critical issues when needed
- Acute attention to detail with the ability to manage and maintain multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced working environment. Team oriented
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
