Davidson is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in Colorado Springs, CO.
Job Responsibilities :
- Complete auditing of all classified systems
- Oversee of audits, user account management, user training requirements, system access controls, metric collection and reporting
- Incident Response (IR) and Reporting, Audit support
- Provide coordination and maintenance of operation authorizations
- Investigate computing security incidents and violations
- Enforce security policy implementation
- Ensure compliance with security program operating procedures
- Handle storage and disposal of assigned classified material
- Provide security education of employees includes participation in IA training
- Coordinate security matters with host, customer, and appropriate Contractor security representatives, and support preparing and conducting security program reviews and self-inspections
- Apply secure systems architecture and design methods, processes, tools, and techniques to ensure compliance with security requirements
- Direct, conduct and mitigate complex risk assessments and investigations
- Provide leadership and mediation for compliance issues and solutions
- Act as industry expert in investigative technologies and processes
- Oversee activities of incident response teams
- Conduct research and develop advanced concepts and techniques
- Direct the development of training materials and enterprise wide processes
- Support auditing, malware detection and vulnerability scanning of systems
- Work under consultative direction
- Work with Cybersecurity staff members to conduct Risk Management Framework (RFM) activities
- Provide monthly functional area reports summarizing work accomplished, work planned in next month and important issues occurring during the month
- Report shall include system and PoA&M status (if applicable) and trend date
- The candidate must be able to provide Security Discipline Management and Execution for fielded assets
- Travel may be required
