Davidson is seeking a results-driven Quality / Process Control Engineer in Huntsville, Alabama to assess and improve manufacturing processes for electromechanical components. You will be evaluating existing manufacturing processes, developing process control strategies, and ensuring that processes comply with industry specifications and regulations. To ensure success, you should demonstrate extensive experience in optimizing control processes and specialization in a related field.
Your schedule will typically consist of four 10-hour shifts, allowing you to enjoy extended weekends for work-life balance.
This position is contingent on funding.
Quality / Process Control Engineer Responsibilities :
- Performing quality assurance on existing manufacturing processes, particularly focused on electromechanical components
- Identifying areas that need process control optimization.
- Evaluating the efficiency of manufacturing technologies, instruments, special test equipment, tools and test processes.
- Experience developing and operating testing infrastructure in support of developing, testing and validating Component / Circuit Board hardware
- Experience deriving test and validation requirements for Component / Circuit Board hardware
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Documenting processes and preparing progress reports.
- Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and resolutions
- Testing and analysis activities to assure compliance to requirements
