IT Field Systems Analyst 2
Purpose : This position is responsible for monitoring, supporting, and troubleshooting all aspects of onboard and field-supporting technology devices and associated systems, including but not limited to configuring hardware and software, maintaining, repairing, and upgrading network / data systems, and managing the installation and testing of hardware and software programs.
The position will effectively collaborate with various departments to timely identify IT problems and perform maintenance to keep programs and hardware systems functioning properly.
Reports to : IT Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Install, remove, troubleshoot, and repair complex networks of on-board electronic, communications, and computer devices, including but not limited to Computer Aided Dispatch / Automated Vehicle Location (CAD / AVL) systems, communications systems, automated passenger counters, and other integrated vehicle systems for Wego
- Perform routine maintenance, installation, removal, repair, and advanced troubleshooting for validators, ticket vending machines, electronic bay, and shelter signs.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair power and data wiring for electronic equipment, including antennas and antenna cabling.
- Configure, test, and troubleshoot complex equipment using a laptop or tablet computer and associated diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct regular system audits and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning as intended.
- Perform routine software updates.
- Resolve reported and identified software issues.
- Maintain detailed asset management records and relay device software configuration changes to the appropriate departments.
- Accurately and professionally document all actions taken to resolve all system issues in the designated reporting format.
- Actively and continuously improve professional knowledge, skills and abilities by participating in routine training sessions and educational seminars relevant to job duties.
