The Global Network Engineering team is responsible for designing, engineering, and implementing the firm’s global network infrastructure with a focus on stability, security, automation, and innovation.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for engineering and deploying the core network across our global WAN and LAN environments, including regional campuses, cloud colocation connectivity, and data center interconnects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support for international and domestic networks.
- Lead and complete network projects of varying complexity.
- Analyze application and bandwidth requirements to provide optimization recommendations.
- Monitor network health and proactively resolve potential issues.
- Deploy, scale, and automate networks across global offices and data centers.
- Document standard operating procedures, network diagrams, and training materials.
- Implement changes following ITIL change management processes.
- Serve as a key escalation resource for infrastructure and application issues.
- Utilize internal monitoring tools to optimize network performance proactively.
Required Skills & Technologies:
- Routing & Switching: Cisco 3650, 9300, 9500, Nexus 9K, ASR, ISR, VSS, Stacking
- Firewalls: ASA 55xx Series, Firepower 11X, 21xx & 41xx, FMC, AnyConnect VPN
- Protocols: BGP, OSPF, AAA, RADIUS, TACACS, ISE
- Load Balancing: F5 LTM/APM/ASM
- Network Management: Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA), Solarwinds
- Wireless & Voice: Cisco Unified Collaboration, Meraki, Ekahau
- Cloud & Co-Located Networks: Experience with Azure & Cloud Service Providers is a plus
- SD-WAN: Strong design/implementation experience
- Certifications: Cisco CCNA/CCNP or similar preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 annually (based on experience and location)
- Bonus: Discretionary performance-based bonus
