Job Description
- Will be responsible for complete cleaning of the interior of the hospital.
- Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner.
- Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
- Uses and maintains equipment properly.
- Transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area.
- Reports safety hazards as appropriate.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Housekeeping experience preferred
- Must be dependable and a team player
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to withstand long periods of standing and walking
- Prefer a great eye for detail, be a team-player and the ability to multi-task
